(D-Michigan)

Senator Elissa Slotkin proudly represents Michigan in the U.S. Senate.

She has dedicated her life to protecting the country she loves. After 9/11, she joined the CIA and served three tours in Iraq alongside the U.S. military. Her time in war zones led to several national security roles and culminated in serving as Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Obama.

In 2018, Elissa was motivated to serve again and ran for Congress, flipping a Republican-held House seat for the first time in decades. She was re-elected in 2020 in a district also won by President Trump, and again in 2022 in the most expensive race in the country. In 2024, she was elected to the Senate, becoming only the second woman to represent Michigan in the Senate and the youngest woman in the Senate Democratic caucus.

Wade—helping to usher in crucial electoral wins.

Mini was a key campaign surrogate in the 2024 election, speaking at the Democratic National Convention and served as a leading voice on the campaign trail.
