Donald Trump on Abortion - Republican Candidates Lying - Reproductive Freedom for All

Donald Trump

Running for: U.S. President

Can’t keep track of Trump’s flip-flopping statements on abortion rights,
fertility treatments, and birth control? You’re not the only one.

But what really matters is what Donald Trump has done. As president, he appointed three anti-abortion justices to the Supreme Court—cementing the conservative supermajority needed to undo decades of precedent and overturn Roe v. Wade.

The Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe has led to 22 states eliminating or restricting access because of abortion bans. These bans take away people’s freedom to decide what happens to their bodies and their futures.

You know what Donald Trump thinks about that? He thinks it’s a “great thing” that people are unable to make these personal decisions. He thinks it’s a “great thing” that women are dying as a result of abortion bans. He’s “proud” to have been the person responsible for overturning Roe v. Wade.

No matter what new lie he tells next, we know what a second Trump administration would mean: He would work to ban abortion nationwide, and put into place draconian restrictions on birth control access and fertility treatments.
