We stopped unprecedented restrictions on abortion access from being added during negotiations to extend Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits.
We worked with members of Congress early to provide research, co-host briefings, and talk to elected leaders about the need to stop new restrictions—while keeping the issue front and center in media coverage, and activating our members to send 4,000 messages to Congress.
We researched over 1,000 bills across all 50 states that could impact abortion access. When South Carolina tried to pass a total abortion ban, our team worked with our allies in the state, submitting testimony and mobilizing our members in South Carolina to call their state lawmakers. The bill ultimately failed.
We opposed 25 cabinet and judicial nominees—researching their records, sending reports to support senators during committee hearings, submitting letters opposing nominees on record, and lobbying elected leaders to vote against confirmations.
We also put a public spotlight on nominees—launching a six-figure ad campaign hitting Trump for packing his cabinet with anti-abortion extremists, and mobilizing 18,000 people to take action and send 36,000 messages to their senators demanding they oppose anti-reproductive freedom nominees.
We need to be strategic and coordinated, which is why Reproductive Freedom for All works with national partners to advance federal legislation that protects and expands abortion access while pushing back against attacks on our rights.
We collaborate with partners in the broader progressive movement, including civil rights and democracy organizations on voting rights and fair courts issues. And we work closely with partners at the state level to strategize on policy, organizing, and communications on reproductive freedom issues.
In 2025, Trump and his circus of extremist allies attacked our fundamental rights in historic fashion, including relentless attacks on abortion, health care, and bodily autonomy. This is not surprising—they told us their plans. So we tracked their every move and organized to fight back.
