Reproductive Freedom for All Celebrates Pat Ryan’s Victory in NY-18 U.S. House Race

Washington, DC — Today, Rep. Pat Ryan secured his re-election to represent New York’s 18th district in the U.S. House of Representatives against Alison Esposito, the anti-abortion Republican who called the issue “not even a factor” while campaigning. Ryan’s win is a decisive victory for reproductive freedom and ensures that New Yorkers will continue to have a steadfast advocate for their fundamental freedoms in Congress.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“Rep. Ryan’s dedication to reproductive freedom in Congress and on the campaign trail made the difference in this race. We are thrilled to congratulate him on his well-deserved victory, and look forward to continuing our work with him to restore the legal right to abortion nationwide and expand access for all.”
