Since 1969, our campaigns have created political and cultural change at every level, from the statehouse to the White House.

We work at both the state and national level to pass proactive policies for reproductive freedom and hold anti-abortion extremists accountable. We represent the 8 in 10 Americans who believe in the legal right to abortion. And we fight for a future where reproductive freedom is a reality for everybody.

Roadmap to Equity

In our ongoing work to center diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our organization and our work, we continue our commitment to our Roadmap to Equity.

Intersectional Commitments

Our fight for reproductive freedom is deeply interconnected with the fight for voting rights, democracy reform, LGBTQIA+ equality and civil rights, and so much more. We're proud to be allies to the individuals and organizations leading the way on these urgent issues.

Commitment to Gender Justice

We support policies that work toward true equity for everybody. This includes decriminalizing sex work and protecting sex workers from intersecting forms of marginalization, oppression, and violence; workplace equity, including pay equity and fair and safe workplaces; ending sexual harassment, assault, and many other forms of gender-based violence; equal treatment in schools and enforcement of Title IX protections; and infrastructure that supports caregivers and ensures affordable, quality childcare.

Commitment to LGBTQIA+ Rights

We support equality and full recognition of LGBTQIA+ civil rights across all matters, including employment, marriage equality, healthcare, and more. Reproductive Freedom for All supports policies to make sure everybody, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, has access to comprehensive health care and coverage—including for abortion, contraception, IVF, and gender-affirming care—free from discrimination.

Commitment to Racial Justice

We believe unequivocally that Black Lives Matter and support the demands of the Movement for Black Lives, including defunding the police and investing in Black communities, which are a response to hundreds of years of systemic oppression and the failure of reforms to address urgent needs and injustices.

We are also recommitting to centering the most impacted in the fight for reproductive freedom, including Black people, people of color, trans women, and people with low incomes, especially when it comes to disparities in maternal mortality, access to abortion care, and birth control.

Commitment to Immigrant Rights

Access to quality, affordable, comprehensive reproductive health care is critical for all people, and no one should face barriers or be denied care or coverage because of their immigration status. These institutional barriers, compounded by the fear of discrimination, criminalization, and deportation, deny immigrants access to the health care and coverage they need.

We support more inclusive immigration laws and policies that would ensure access to comprehensive reproductive health care regardless of immigration status.

Commitment to Democracy and Civil Rights

Civil rights, including the right to vote, are essential to both the foundation of our democracy and to protecting and advancing reproductive freedom.

Those most affected by abortion restrictions, including Black people, Indigenous people, and communities of color, are also disproportionately impacted by voter suppression.

We support policies that protect and advance civil rights and the ability to fully participate in our democracy through safe, fair, and accessible elections.
