NARAL Announces New Ads in Battleground States and Launches Homestretch GOTV Push as Part of Largest Ever 2020 Electoral Program

NARAL is running new ads and mobilizing critical voting blocs in Arizona, Iowa, Georgia, Maine, Minnesota, Michigan, and North Carolina
Washington, DC — Today, with voting under way in key states, NARAL Freedom Fund is going all out in the final push of its unprecedented $34.7 million political program, launching new GOTV tactics in key Senate battleground states — Arizona, Iowa, Georgia, Maine, Minnesota, Michigan, and North Carolina.
The program will include paid digital ads to run through the remainder of the election, a robust mail program, and peer-to-peer texting. An example of the digital ads can be seen here.
As Republicans continue to put ideology over science during a global pandemic and try to ram through the confirmation of Amy Coney Barett to the Supreme Court in order to upend the Affordable Care Act and gut Roe v. Wade, NARAL is working to target persuadable women voters in key battleground states and districts.

“When the stakes could not be higher, Donald Trump and Republican senators have miserably failed the American people by putting their own extremist ideology over science, refusing to listen to experts, and — in a slap in the face of voters, especially women — demonstrating they think politicians belong in people’s personal decisions about reproductive healthcare.
In these critical final weeks, NARAL is going all out to ensure that Trump and Republican senators own the consequences of their failures at the ballot box, and answer for the harm that their draconian agenda has on people’s lives and freedoms– especially people of color and the communities who already suffer the most at the hands of politicians who rollback reproductive health access. NARAL and our more than 2.5 million members are energized, mobilized, and doing everything we can to ensure voters in battleground states understand the imperative of defeating Trump and flipping the Senate.”
This homestretch push comes just as Republican Senators are about to force hearings on the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, assaulting democracy in a shameless power grab after the American people are already casting their ballots.
