Equip yourself with the facts. Here you’ll find explainers, deep dives, and other resources on reproductive freedom.
Abortion is a common part of reproductive health care. Yet politicians intentionally spread disinformation to stigmatize it.
Our electoral efforts connect voters with opportunities to make tangible change to help build a future where everyone is free to make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and families.
We elect reproductive freedom champions from statehouses to the White House and protect and expand abortion rights and access through ballot measures.
Under a second Trump presidency, attacks on reproductive freedom have been relentless. But we’re tracking and fighting back against this extremist anti-abortion agenda.
Project 2025 is no longer just a “plan,” it’s a checklist of extreme policies being implemented at an alarming pace.

NARAL Pro-Choice America Applauds Biden Administration for Taking Steps to Expand Access to Birth Control
Washington, DC — Today, the Biden-Harris administration proposed new regulations to expand birth control coverage for millions of Americans. If finalized, these rules would establish new pathways to expand birth control coverage and rescind a policy enacted by the Trump administration that allowed employers and universities to deny birth control coverage by citing moral objections. The draft rule will be open for public comment for 60 days.
NARAL Pro-Choice America President Mini Timmaraju released the following statement in response:
“Everybody should have access to birth control coverage—no matter who they work for or where they study. For too long, the Trump administration’s rules denied Americans the fundamental right to plan for their futures and make the best decisions for themselves and their families. While the Biden administration took action today to protect reproductive freedom, Republicans announced additional plans to even more aggressively attack our rights. We thank the Biden administration for being on the side of the 8 in 10 Americans who support reproductive freedom.”
