Washington, DC — Today, a grand jury voted to indict former U.S. President Donald Trump.
NARAL Pro-Choice America President Mini Timmaraju released the following statement in response:
“For his entire life, Donald Trump has flouted the law, padding his wallet at the expense of everyone—from his tenants to the American taxpayer. No more. Accountability has finally come for Donald Trump. While we take no satisfaction in a former U.S. president facing indictment, we are hopeful that this signals the beginning of the end of the mainstreaming of political violence and attacks on democracy.”
