Reproductive Freedom for All Announces New Director of Nevada Campaigns, Denise Lopez
Reno, Nevada – Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced the organization’s new director of Nevada campaigns, Denise Lopez. Lopez was previously a Nevada project consultant for All Voting is Local. At Reproductive Freedom for All, she will lead strategic legislative, political, organizing, and advocacy campaigns for Reproductive Freedom for All Nevada and work to mobilize voters and members to ensure everybody in the state and across the country has the freedom to make their own decisions about their lives and bodies.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“The 2024 elections are monumental for abortion rights, reproductive freedom, and the future of our democracy – and to return President Biden to the White House and restore abortion rights nationwide, we need to win big in Nevada. It’s a tall order, and I am confident Denise is up to the challenge. We are thrilled to have her on our team and even more excited for the people of Nevada to benefit from her tenacity, commitment, and determination to achieve true reproductive freedom for all.”

I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work with Reproductive Freedom for All and our 48,000 members in the state of Nevada to make sure we secure permanent protections for reproductive freedom for all Nevadans.”

“We are so excited to have Denise Lopez joining our team as our new director of Nevada campaigns during this pivotal moment in our state when we are working with our partners on a ballot measure to add permanent state constitutional protections for reproductive freedom. Reproductive freedom is in crisis like never before across the country and here in Nevada as well. It is so clear that we need better protections to continue safeguarding the rights of future generations. Denise’s extensive experience and background in community organizing and coalition building in Nevada will be vital to ensuring reproductive freedom for all in Nevada.”
Denise has more than 12 years of experience working in campaigns and advocacy. Most recently, Denise served as a consultant for All Voting is Local and at Faith in Action as their National Voter Engagement Coordinator. Prior to that, she was the executive director of the Washoe County Democratic Party in Northern Nevada. Denise also worked for former Nevada State Senator Julia Ratti and for Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
