Reproductive Freedom for All Applauds the Passage of Ohio Ballot Measure Protecting Abortion Access
Washington, DC — Today, in a resounding vote, Ohioans approved the “Issue 1” ballot measure locking abortion rights into the state’s constitution. This crucial victory serves as a bellwether for the significance of abortion access to voters nationwide.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Abortion access isn’t just a winning issue with voters; it’s a fundamental right that impacts every aspect of their lives. Ohioans have now constitutionally guaranteed this right, and the nation is watching. We’re excited to continue working with our partners and champions in Ohio to ensure that reproductive freedom is a reality for all the Buckeye State.”
