Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester for U.S. Senate in Delaware
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced its endorsement of U.S. Rep Lisa Blunt Rochester to be the next U.S. Senator from Delaware. She has represented Delaware as its at-large congressional representative since 2017 and is the first woman and the first person of color ever to represent Delaware in Congress. During her tenure, she’s been a strong champion for reproductive freedom and expanding access to reproductive health care, including abortion care, consistently receiving a 100% rating from Reproductive Freedom for All.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester is a champion for reproductive freedom in the House, and we know she’ll be the same in the Senate. With anti-abortion Republicans in Congress determined to pass a national abortion ban, we can take no seat for granted. We’re proud to have Rep. Blunt Rochester’s back in this race, and look forward to continuing to work with her when she becomes Delaware’s next senator.”
Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester released the following statement:
“A woman’s right to make decisions about her own body is a fundamental human right. I am proud to stand with Reproductive Freedom for All in advocating for policies that protect and enhance the reproductive rights of individuals across the nation.”
