Equip yourself with the facts. Here you’ll find explainers, deep dives, and other resources on reproductive freedom.
Abortion is a common part of reproductive health care. Yet politicians intentionally spread disinformation to stigmatize it.
Our electoral efforts connect voters with opportunities to make tangible change to help build a future where everyone is free to make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and families.
We elect reproductive freedom champions from statehouses to the White House and protect and expand abortion rights and access through ballot measures.
Under a second Trump presidency, attacks on reproductive freedom have been relentless. But we’re tracking and fighting back against this extremist anti-abortion agenda.
Project 2025 is no longer just a “plan,” it’s a checklist of extreme policies being implemented at an alarming pace.

Press Release
Washington, DC — Today, House Republicans continued their dishonest and out-of-touch crusade against reproductive freedom with a flurry of anti-choice votes on the House floor. Despite the irrefutably clear message sent by voters last November in support of abortion rights, Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the House GOP are undeterred from moving to further restrict abortion for all Americans. These bills include one that would allow politicians to interfere in personal family decisions (H.R. 26, the so-called “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act”) and a resolution meant to muddy the waters and detract from the GOP’s extremely unpopular anti-reproductive freedom agenda (H.Con.Res.3). Meanwhile, House Democrats, under the stewardship of Leader Hakeem Jeffries, have coalesced around a reproductive freedom agenda that prioritizes the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) and other key legislation to protect and expand access to abortion, birth control, and more.
NARAL Pro-Choice America President Mini Timmaraju released the following statement in response:
“Once again, Democrats are fighting for our reproductive freedom and the 8 in 10 Americans who support the legal right to abortion, while Republicans are doubling down on their anti-choice extremist values. Democrats’ first action was putting forth the Women’s Health Protection Act to restore and expand access to abortion, while Republicans are forcing votes on bills that make it harder for Americans to access the care they need. The contrast between the two parties has never been clearer. We thank our champions on the Hill and look forward to our continued collaboration to ensure these anti-choice bills never leave the House chamber.”
