Reproductive Freedom for All Applauds Biden-Harris Administration’s Nomination of Nicole Berner to Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals
Washington, DC — Today, President Biden announced the nomination of Nicole Berner to serve on the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Brenner currently serves as general counsel at the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and has previously advanced reproductive freedom as a staff attorney for Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement in response:
“Nicole Berner is a fair-minded legal authority with a record of defending reproductive freedom and other fundamental rights. Her service on the Fourth Circuit will help safeguard against the ongoing and future attacks on the right to abortion. We’re grateful to the Biden-Harris administration for making this nomination and look forward to working with our Senate champions to swiftly confirm her.”
