Reproductive Freedom for All Applauds the Passage of Nevada Ballot Measure Protecting Abortion Access
Washington, DC — Today, in a resounding vote, Nevadans approved the “Question 6” ballot measure, locking abortion rights into the state’s constitution. This is a crucial victory for abortion access and reaffirms the saliency of abortion for voters nationwide.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Nevada voters reaffirmed an undeniable truth: Reproductive freedom is a winning issue that mobilizes voters in historic numbers. This is a huge victory for Nevadans and an essential step to further protecting their rights. We look forward to continuing to work alongside our partners on the ground and our over 50,000 members in Nevada to deliver a resounding victory in 2026 to ensure Nevadans can have the permanent right to abortion.”
Reproductive Freedom for All Director of State Campaigns Caroline Mello Roberson released the following statement:
“It’s a great day for abortion rights and access in the state of Nevada as we move one step closer to Nevadans enshrining the right to abortion care in our state constitution. This campaign was a grassroots-led effort powered by state partners, activists, and our over 50,000 battle-born members. We’re excited to continue working to ensure that reproductive freedom is a reality for all Nevada families and lock our rights into law in 2026 establishing the permanent right to abortion for all Nevadans.”
