Reproductive Freedom for All Celebrates Elissa Slotkin’s Victory in Michigan Senate Race
Washington, DC — Today, Michigan voters elected Rep. Elissa Slotkin to the U.S. Senate. Throughout Rep. Slotkin’s congressional career, she has consistently received a 100% score on Reproductive Freedom for All’s congressional scorecard. Our 130,000 members in Michigan worked tirelessly to send her to the Senate. During her time in Congress, Rep. Sloktin cosponsored the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Ensuring Women’s Right to Reproductive Freedom Act.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Senator-elect Slotkin has been a fearless advocate for reproductive freedom in Congress and on the campaign trail—and that’s exactly why Michigan voters have sent her to the Senate. We are excited to work alongside her to restore the federal right to abortion and ensure all Americans have the freedom to make their own decisions about their lives, bodies, and futures.
