Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Slate of Reproductive Freedom Champions for U.S. House
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All endorsed three candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives. All of these champions for reproductive freedom are up against anti-abortion incumbents in Red to Blue districts. They will be critical to securing the majority in Congress that can pass federal protections for abortion and expand access to care.
- Shomari Figures (AL-02)
- Adam Gray (CA-13)
- Janelle Stelson (PA-10)
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“From California to Alabama to Pennsylvania, anti-freedom incumbents have been relentless in their efforts to ban abortion and strip away our reproductive freedom. But we have proven time and again that when we mobilize and fight back together with our champions, we can win. That’s why it’s critical that we elect these candidates to the U.S. House and secure a reproductive freedom majority in Congress. We are proud to endorse them today and are committed to working tirelessly to elect them this November.”
Reproductive Freedom for All is already on the ground in states across the country as part of its largest-ever electoral program, working to ensure reproductive freedom champions are elected from statehouses to the White House and that we protect and expand abortion rights and access through ballot measures. Our 2024 program connects voters with opportunities to make immediate, tangible changes to help build a future where everyone is free to make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and families.
Last November, on the heels of yet another resounding victory for abortion rights in elections across the country, Reproductive Freedom for All launched its “Vote for Repro Freedom” campaign. This digital and grassroots campaign will harness the momentum of big wins in Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky by encouraging voters to commit to voting in 2024 for reproductive freedom champions as the first step in mobilizing the 8 in 10 Americans who support legal abortion.
