Reproductive Freedom for All Names Kat Skiles As Senior Vice President of Communications and Digital Strategy as Organization Scales National Narrative Leadership Ahead of 2026 Midterms
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced Kat Skiles as the organization’s new Senior Vice President of Communications and Digital Strategy, a key executive leadership role charged with shaping the national narrative around reproductive freedom at one of the most consequential moments for American democracy. Skiles joins Reproductive Freedom for All as the organization accelerates its work heading into the 2026 midterm elections—mobilizing its 4 million nationwide members and the 8 in 10 Americans who support access to abortion care to elect reproductive freedom champions at all levels of government.
Skiles is an award-winning digital and creative leader known for shaping results-focused strategy, impact-driven content, and breakthrough campaigns at the highest levels of politics and advocacy. She has built a career amplifying the voices of changemakers and campaigns on the frontlines of progress, including producing influential work for progressive leaders, advocacy organizations, and mission-driven brands through her creative and digital studio, Narrative. In this capacity, Skiles partnered with Reproductive Freedom for All as the Executive Producer for the organization’s podcast, My Body. My Pod.
Before launching her own shop, Skiles served as Message Mobilization Director at the Democratic National Committee and spent nearly a decade on Capitol Hill in senior roles, including as Digital Director and Senior Advisor to U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and as Digital Director and Press Secretary for the U.S. House Democratic Caucus.
In her new role, Skiles will lead Reproductive Freedom for All’s integrated communications and digital strategy—bolstering a cohesive, research-driven narrative operation that advances reproductive freedom at the state and national levels, shapes media coverage, grows audiences, and centers the lived experiences of impacted communities.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“As we head into the November midterms, the anti-abortion movement is investing millions to flood the airwaves with disinformation about abortion care. We need storytellers who can break through with the truth about what’s at stake for everyday people—from reproductive freedom to accessible health care to affordability. Kat is an expert at turning political fights into kitchen table issues people understand and care about—she’s done it for Speaker Pelosi, the DNC, and through campaigns she’s built on her own. Now she’s joining Reproductive Freedom for All to help us fight and win on the issues that will determine election outcomes.”
Reproductive Freedom for All Senior Vice President of Communications and Digital Strategy Kat Skiles released the following statement:
“Our fundamental freedoms—and our democracy itself—are on the line, and Reproductive Freedom for All is meeting this moment head-on with clarity and conviction. I’m honored to join this powerhouse organization and work alongside a movement leader like Mini, who knows that this isn’t abstract policy—it’s real life for real people. She understands the stakes, thinks boldly about what’s possible, and is committed to building the influence and infrastructure necessary to win.
I’m eager to help execute that vision in service of our mission—harnessing storytelling to elevate reproductive freedom to the forefront of the national conversation and ensure these issues receive the urgency, attention, and investment they deserve. We have a responsibility to refute disinformation, tell the truth about what abortion bans are doing to people’s lives, and mobilize the 8 in 10 Americans who believe decisions about our bodies belong to us—not politicians.
This work is personal. It’s urgent. And I couldn’t be more ready to get to work.”
