Reproductive Freedom for All Responds to Supreme Court Taking Up Case on Emergency Abortion Care

Washington, DC Today, the U.S. Supreme Court announced that it will hear arguments in an Idaho case about whether emergency room doctors must provide emergency abortion care in states that ban abortion.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“Every day, the truth is clearer: Anti-abortion extremists never intended for abortion ban ‘exceptions’ to work, and they never cared about pregnant people or their families. The Supreme Court must do the right thing and ensure that doctors can provide emergency abortion care.
