National Day of Action

Reproductive Freedom for All is an organizing partner for Fight the Trump Takeover, a national day of peaceful action on Saturday, August 16 to fight back against Trump’s attempt to steal the 2026 election by rigging the system and changing electoral maps. Trump started with Texas, but he won’t stop there. 

What’s Happening in Texas?

Trump and his Republican allies are trying to redraw Texas congressional districts in their favor. 

Governor Abbott called a special session to advance Trump’s political agenda and to double down on dividing and distracting us. The issues Gov. Abbott is focused on include:

• Redistricting: Redrawing voting maps to be more partisan to lock in power for himself and his Republican allies.
• Abortion: They’re trying to further criminalize abortion, fully ignoring how this will cause additional harm to pregnant people in Texas.
• Trans rights: Targeting trans Texans through gross ‘bathroom’ bans instead of addressing the real issues trans people face daily.

In response, Texas House Democrats broke quorum to stop extremist leadership from pushing through these harmful policies.

Take Action

The Texas House Democrats are trying to stop the Trump takeover of their state, but Trump won’t stop at Texas. He’s targeting Missouri, Ohio, Florida and every state he can convince to help him steal Congress next year.

We must join together and make clear that we will not let Trump destroy our democracy. We must fight back.
