Reproductive Freedom for All Disavows House GOP’s Latest Attempt to Ban Abortion Nationwide
Washington, DC — Today, House Republicans announced legislation to ban medication abortion—the most common type of abortion care—across the country.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement in response:
“Despite overwhelming support among Americans for medication abortion and its long history of safe, effective use, House Republicans are again pursuing a nationwide ban. This bill is as dangerous as the out-of-control House GOP. Anti-abortion extremists want to ban all abortion, and this bill shows us yet again that given the opportunity to, they will.”
