Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Slate of Champions for the U.S. House
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced its first endorsement slate of challengers for the U.S. House under its new name. The list consists of community organizers, small business owners, educators, and veterans. AZ-06, CA-41, IA-01, MT-01, PA-01, and TX-15 are currently represented by anti-abortion extremists and are expected to be some of the most contested races in the 2024 election cycle. These seats could determine the majority in the U.S. House, and winning these races is critical to fighting back against the GOP’s extremist agenda—including a national abortion ban.
See full list below:
- Raquel Terán (AZ-03)
- Kirsten Engel (AZ-06)
- Lateefah Simon (CA-12)
- Will Rollins (CA-41)
- Sarah McBride (DE-At Large)
- Christina Bohannan (IA-01)
- Monica Tranel (MT-01)
- Ashley Ehasz (PA-01)
- Michelle Vallejo (TX-15)
As a historical first, if elected, Sarah McBride would be the first openly transgender member of Congress.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Anti-abortion House Republicans are hell-bent on ramming through a national abortion ban, and we need to take back the House in 2024 to stop them. The champions we are endorsing today know that abortion access matters to Americans and are boldly leading with their plans to protect and restore our rights across the country. That’s why Reproductive Freedom for All is proud to endorse them, and we’re ready to get to work and ensure they’re elected next November.”
