Right to Contraception Act

Motion to invoke cloture (end debate) on the motion to proceed to the Right to Contraception Act, a bill to protect both an individual’s right to use contraception and a health care provider’s right to provide contraceptives and related counseling. Three-fifths of the Senate (60 votes) is required to invoke cloture. Cloture motion failed. A vote for reproductive freedom was in support of cloture.
