NARAL Pro-Choice Nevada Congratulates Reproductive Freedom Champions on their Democratic Primary Victories

All seven NARAL-endorsed candidates won their Democratic primaries for Nevada’s State Legislature and will now advance to the November general election: Liz Becker (SD-18), Shondra Summers-Armstrong (AD-06), Cameron “C.H.” Miller (AD-07), Dr. David Orentlicher (AD-20), Natha Anderson (AD-30), and incumbent Assembly Members Rochelle Nguyen (AD-10) and Howard Watts (AD-15).
In response, NARAL Pro-Choice Nevada Director Caroline Mello Roberson released the following statement:
“NARAL congratulates our Nevada candidates on their victories in the Democratic primary. With the stakes for abortion access higher than ever, it’s essential that our elected officials continue to fight fiercely to protect and expand reproductive freedom. The pro-choice majority in Carson City has been instrumental to safeguarding our Silver State values of trusting Nevadans to make their own decisions about pregnancy, free from political interference. NARAL was proud to support these seven candidates in the primary election and we look forward to sending them to the legislature in November.”
