Our organization started as an unaffiliated campus club, and we got involved with Reproductive Freedom for All about a year ago.
Since then, we’ve hosted the best campus events and have been much more successful with outreach. We also receive so much support and guidance from our interns and committee leaders.
This has helped our club grow and spread our message to our peers and the Blacksburg community. I would love to see more Repro Freedom campus organizations, and I encourage any student activists to consider joining!”

Coming from a southern state with severe abortion restrictions, I feel deep gratitude and comfort attending a school in a state that constitutionally protects abortion. This sense of security is not something that I take for granted—everyone should have the right to reproductive health care, how and when they want it.
My club and I are committed to fighting against anti-abortion policy, educating our peers on the importance of reproductive freedom, and empowering others to fight the good fight.”

You don’t always have to be in an uncomfortable position, seeking pregnancy care or undergoing struggles with family planning to be a part of this club. Most people there are present to help the others around them, and extend this blanket of security that says, ‘Hey, if you ever need care or help, we are here.’
With that comes education, outreach, and truly some of the most fruitful friendships I’ve had across my college career.
Overall, my experience has been invaluable, and knowing this community has my back through supporting and uplifting women’s rights makes me stronger and more confident as an individual.”
