Still, Georgians are suffering a real and horrifying health crisis due to restrictive abortion bans, forced to navigate dangerous restrictions that endanger their lives and well-being.

Our Legislative Priorities
- Fighting tax-payer funded anti-abortion centers. These fake clinics (also called “crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs)”) lie, shame, and mislead patients to prevent them from accessing abortion and other forms of reproductive health care.
- Passing proactive legislation protecting reproductive freedom: We advocate to protect folks seeking care and abortion providers from criminal consequences, and support other legislative efforts such as advancing the Reproductive Freedom Act, and expanding access to paid family and medical leave.
- Protecting & defending LGBTQIA+ rights for Georgians: We work in solidarity with our progressive allies in support of LGBTQIA+ liberation and support policies to ensure that all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, have access to comprehensive care and coverage—including for abortion, contraception, and IVF—and the freedom to decide what happens to their own bodies and lives.
- Protecting and advancing civil rights: Civil rights—including the right to vote—are essential to both the foundation of our democracy and to protecting and advancing reproductive freedom. Everybody should be able to participate in our democracy through safe, fair, and accessible elections—and we oppose laws and policies that restrict voting rights.
- Advocating for expanded Medicaid access: Expanding Medicaid would significantly increase Georgians’ access to reproductive health care—including birth control, prenatal and postpartum care, STI screenings, cancer screenings, and maternal health services.

❌ We’re contacting lawmakers to fight against several extreme bills that seek to:
- Ban abortion and jail pregnant Georgians who have adverse pregnancy outcomes
- Ban insurance coverage for state employees seeking gender-affirming care
- Ban trans kids from playing sports
- Ban on medications for trans youth
✅ We are also writing to support paid family leave expansion because six weeks is not enough.
