ICYMI: Mini Timmaraju Kicks Off ‘My Body. My Ballot.’ October Sprint With Candidates in Pennsylvania
Yesterday, Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju brought the My Body. My Ballot. campaign to Pennsylvania for the first stop in our “October sprint,” the month-long national battleground tour before Election Day. Mini joined endorsed congressional candidates Chris Rabb (PA-03) and Bob Brooks (PA-07) to spotlight what is at stake for reproductive freedom in the midterms.
The day began with a tour of the Allentown Women’s Center, an independent abortion clinic, where Mini and Brooks met with healthcare staff. The next stop was a roundtable hosted by Reproductive Freedom for All and the Brooks campaign to discuss the realities of delivering reproductive healthcare amid escalating attacks on abortion access.
The visit underscored Reproductive Freedom for All’s commitment to flipping Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District by electing Brooks and defeating anti-abortion Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, who has a 100% anti-abortion voting record in Congress and has supported an abortion ban without exceptions for rape or incest.

Later, Mini joined Rabb at the University of Pennsylvania for a “My Body. My Ballot. UPenn” panel hosted by UPenn Reproductive Justice, UPenn College Democrats, and Med Students for Choice. The conversation focused on student organizing, holding anti-abortion politicians accountable, and mobilizing campus volunteers for canvassing across key Pennsylvania battleground congressional districts.

As the October sprint got underway, press highlighted the campaign’s reach and stakes. Mini started the day with Laura Barrón-López on MS NOW’s Way Too Early. NBC News reported on the tour’s stops in nine battleground states, while MeidasTouch spotlighted the campaign’s organizing power—including more than 200,000 doors knocked—and its investments in competitive races.
