Defeat of anti-choice, anti-freedom Republican challenger David Richter is a win for New Jersey and reproductive freedom
New Jersey — Earlier today New Jersey voters re-elected NARAL-endorsed Rep. Andy Kim to represent New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. His victory over anti-choice, anti-freedom Republican challenger David Richter marks a huge win for reproductive freedom.
In response to Rep. Kim’s reelection, NARAL Pro-Choice America President Ilyse Hogue released the following statement:
“During his time in the House, Rep. Kim has fought for reproductive freedom time and again, including refusing to support Donald Trump’s domestic gag rule. We are thankful to have Rep. Kim with us in the fight for our fundamental rights and look forward to continuing our work together to protect and expand reproductive freedom.”
Rep. Kim was first elected in 2018 and has earned a 100% from NARAL’s Congressional Record on Choice.
