NARAL Pro-Choice America Endorses Jessica González-Rojas for NY State Assembly

NARAL Pro-Choice America today announced its endorsement of Jessica González-Rojas in her campaign to represent New York’s 34th Assembly District.
“Jessica González-Rojas is a lifelong, tireless advocate for reproductive freedom,” says Ilyse Hogue, President of NARAL Pro-Choice America. “NARAL is proud to endorse her so she can bring her leadership and expertise to the New York State Legislature and work to ensure that women in the state are free to make their own personal decisions about pregnancy without interference from politicians.”

Jessica González-Rojas is the former Executive Director of the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, a national reproductive justice organization that specifically works to advance reproductive health, rights and justice for the 29 million Latinas in the United States. She also served as an Adjunct Professor at the City University of New York’s City College and the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. González-Rojas was previously elected to represent the New York State Democratic Committee in her community from 2002-2006.
