NARAL Pro-Choice America Denounces Supreme Court’s 303 Creative v. Elenis Ruling

Washington, DC — Today, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down its decision in 303 Creative v. Elenis, granting businesses a free license to discriminate against the LGBTQ+ community by claiming religious exemptions.
NARAL Pro-Choice America President Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“The Supreme Court’s conservative justices have no regard for our fundamental rights. They’ve just given bigots the green light and further endangered our LGBTQ+ friends, families, and neighbors who are already targeted by dehumanizing policies and rhetoric. This decision is un-American and unacceptable. We deserve a Court that will protect and expand freedom for all of us, and we won’t get it from these extremist conservative justices. We need bold reforms and decisive action, and we need it now. ”
