NARAL Pro-Choice California Endorses Slate of Reproductive Freedom Champions for Re-Election to the State Legislature

Sixteen California Incumbents Earn Endorsement from State’s Leading Pro-Choice Advocacy Group
NARAL Pro-Choice California today announced its endorsement of 16 state legislative incumbents ahead of the November 3rd general election. The slate of endorsed candidates includes three incumbents in the state Senate and 13 in the Assembly.
“2020 has shone a spotlight on the importance of protecting our state leaders who have been unwavering in their commitment to safeguarding our most fundamental freedoms,” said Shannon Hovis, director of NARAL Pro-Choice California. “NARAL and our 295,000 members across California are proud to endorse these 16 candidates for re-election, all of whom have proven to be fierce champions for reproductive freedom, and can be trusted to ensure that all Californians have meaningful access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare and job-protected paid family leave.”

These incumbents join 14 previously endorsed state legislators in earning the endorsement of NARAL Pro-Choice California PrivacyPAC, California’s only statewide, nonpartisan, pro-choice political action committee leading the effort to elect champions for reproductive freedom in California.
