NARAL Pro-Choice California Endorses Speaker Anthony Rendon for Re-Election in California’s Assembly District 63
Rendon Earns Endorsement from State’s Leading Pro-Choice Advocacy Group
SACRAMENTO – Today, NARAL Pro-Choice California announced its endorsement of Speaker Anthony Rendon for re-election in California’s Assembly District 63.
“Anthony Rendon is a fearless champion for reproductive freedom and under his leadership, the California State Assembly has led the way in protecting and expanding the reproductive rights of all Californians,” said Shannon Hovis, Director of NARAL Pro-Choice California. “With Speaker Rendon at the helm, California has made significant strides to expand access to care, including becoming the first state in the nation to bring medication abortion to its public university campuses, addressing bias in maternal healthcare to reduce California’s high rates of black maternal mortality, and allowing a person to receive a year’s supply of birth control. NARAL Pro-Choice California is proud to back him in this race.”
