Nevada — Yesterday, Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford joined Caroline Mello Roberson, NARAL Pro-Choice America Southwest Regional Director, for a discussion on how Nevada is playing a critical role in providing abortion care for people in neighboring states, steps AG Ford is taking to protect Nevadans’ reproductive freedom, and the wins in improving and defending access to care in Nevada.

“The Dobbs decision is one of the most disturbing and dangerous legal decisions that I’ve seen in my lifetime. For as long as Roe v. Wade stood as precedent, generations of people have been able to access safe and legal medical care and make decisions about their bodies and their future. My office has joined the subsequent challenges to the Dobbs decision. We’ve fought against companies attempting to deny coverage for reproductive care, not to mention the litigation involving mifepristone. From the grassroots movements to the state houses, we have to be vigilant, continue fighting, and never become complacent.
