Reproductive Freedom for All and Men4Choice Encourage Men in Pennsylvania to Join the Fight for Reproductive Freedom with New Ad Campaign
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All Foundation and Men4Choice announced the launch of a new campaign that speaks to young Latino and Black men in Pennsylvania. The six-figure buy features two ads and aims to motivate men to get involved through examples of how abortion bans infringe on freedoms and are dangerous to families. Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“For too long, men who support reproductive freedom—including policymakers—have felt that this issue wasn’t theirs to speak on. But the conversations in these ads illustrate how these issues affect all of us. It’s inspiring to see more men realizing that reproductive freedom is everyone’s fight.”
Men4Choice Executive Director Oren Jacobson said:
“In this election cycle, we’re seeing men across the country getting involved in the fight for reproductive freedom. Our goal is to make sure everyone understands what is at stake and how these issues impact men, too. We know, from our work, that the best way to do that is through peer-to-peer conversations, like you see in these ads.”
In the last year alone, Men4Choice trained more than 125 new youth organizers, organized more than 350 educational events, and brought over 2,000 young men into the movement. They also partnered with the Second Gentleman, Doug Emhoff and tested the impact of their organizing model with researchers at Yale. This campaign is part of a larger effort to engage men across the country in the fight for reproductive freedom.
