Reproductive Freedom for All Applauds Senate Democrats for Pushing Back on GOP Funding Bill
Washington, DC—Today, Senate Democrats announced that they will reject the GOP funding bill, which threatens cuts to programs that protect the health and well-being of the American people. The continuing resolution passed out of the Republican-majority House earlier this week.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement in response:
“Republicans are ramming through a continuing resolution designed to hurt families and communities in favor of giving tax cuts to billionaires. We’re thankful to our champions in the Senate for holding the line and protecting American families.”
