Reproductive Freedom for All Applauds Survivors, Calls Out Republicans Enabling Trump and Attacking Our Freedoms

Washington, DC — Today, as survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and other victims of sexual abuse rally on Capitol Hill to demand transparency and justice, Reproductive Freedom for All applauds their courage.

While some Democratic lawmakers are supporting survivors, the majority of Republicans continue to enable Donald Trump as he covers up his ties to Epstein—and at the same time, they are working to strip away reproductive freedom from millions of people across the country.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“Survivors are demanding the truth and they deserve justice. But instead of fighting for survivors, Republicans are doing Donald Trump’s bidding—covering up for predators while pushing an agenda that robs women of their most basic freedoms. History shows us that when authoritarian movements take hold, they attack women and girls first. Today’s GOP is following that playbook by protecting abusers, undermining democracy, and trying to control our bodies. The American people see through it, and we will continue to hold Republicans accountable for enabling Donald Trump.”
