Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff for Reelection
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All is endorsing Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) in his reelection bid.
Sen. Ossoff has been a steadfast champion for reproductive freedom, and a leading voice pushing back against extremist republicans’ agenda to gut funding for health care and ban abortion nationwide. Ossoff has used his time in the Senate to shed light on the harms of Georgia’s extreme abortion ban by releasing reports on its effects and holding field hearings to lift up those most impacted.
To mark this endorsement, Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju will join the Ossoff campaign, along with Planned Parenthood Action Fund, for an event to underscore the stakes of this election. Timmaraju will also join Georgia members in Atlanta for their annual lobby day, where Reproductive Freedom for All Georgia members will meet with lawmakers to support legislation that protects abortion care providers and expands reproductive freedom.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Senator Jon Ossoff has been a clear and unwavering champion for reproductive freedom, standing up for Georgians’ right to make their own personal medical decisions. During his time in the Senate, he has spoken out about the deadly consequences of abortion bans like the one in his home state and pushed back against efforts to restrict abortion care nationwide. As extremists in the Senate continue to push for a national abortion ban and rip people’s health care away, it is more important than ever that we re-elect Senator Ossoff. He is critical to securing a Senate majority that will stop this administration’s attacks on our rights and freedoms.”
Senator Jon Ossoff released the following statement:
“Since arriving in the Senate I have worked consistently to safeguard reproductive health care for Georgia women, which is why I fought to protect access to contraception and support families seeking IVF treatments. I am honored to have the endorsement of Reproductive Freedom For All and look forward to working together to expand women’s access to health care.”
Reproductive Freedom for All recently launched its first slate of U.S. Senate endorsements in the 2026 cycle—backing Janet Mills, Chris Pappas, Roy Cooper, and Sherrod Brown—all candidates who will protect reproductive freedom.
