Equip yourself with the facts. Here you’ll find explainers, deep dives, and other resources on reproductive freedom.
Abortion is a common part of reproductive health care. Yet politicians intentionally spread disinformation to stigmatize it.
Our electoral efforts connect voters with opportunities to make tangible change to help build a future where everyone is free to make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and families.
We elect reproductive freedom champions from statehouses to the White House and protect and expand abortion rights and access through ballot measures.
Under a second Trump presidency, attacks on reproductive freedom have been relentless. But we’re tracking and fighting back against this extremist anti-abortion agenda.
Project 2025 is no longer just a “plan,” it’s a checklist of extreme policies being implemented at an alarming pace.

Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Judge Chris Taylor for Wisconsin State Supreme Court
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced its endorsement of Judge Chris Taylor for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Judge Taylor has a long history of defending reproductive freedom, including as an attorney and policy director for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, her decade of service in the state legislature, and as an experienced jurist dedicated to upholding Wisconsinites’ constitutional rights.
In stark contrast, Taylor’s opponent, conservative Judge Maria Lazar, defended abortion restrictions as an assistant attorney general for former Governor Scott Walker. Lazar recently said she supports legislation to ban abortion at six weeks—before many people even know they’re pregnant—and praised the overturning of Roe v. Wade, which has led to chaos, crisis, and preventable deaths across the country.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has played a decisive role in abortion access in the state, including striking down the 176-year-old abortion ban by ruling the law unconstitutional in 2025—a decision made possible by the court’s flip to a reproductive-freedom majority in 2023. This election, set for April 7, could expand that majority and cement its composition through 2030.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“As federal courts have failed us, state supreme courts are increasingly important to defending our fundamental rights. Wisconsinites know firsthand that who sits on their state’s highest court can determine whether they have the freedom to control their own bodies. We know that Judge Chris Taylor will be fair and stand up for our fundamental freedoms. Her opponent has openly supported abortion bans and celebrated the fall of Roe v. Wade. Wisconsinites deserve a justice who will protect their rights, not take them away, and Reproductive Freedom for All will make sure voters know that abortion is on the ballot again this spring.”
In 2023, Reproductive Freedom for all made its first-ever state supreme court endorsement in Wisconsin, backing Justice Janet Protasiewicz, who flipped the court’s 15-year anti-abortion majority. Last year, Reproductive Freedom for All again mobilized its 85,000 members in Wisconsin to support Justice Susan Crawford in what became the most expensive judicial race in American history.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has agreed to hear another case brought by Planned Parenthood that seeks to enshrine the constitutional right to abortion, likely before the next justice joins the bench. The justice elected in this race will hear two cases challenging Republican-drawn congressional maps.
