Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Reproductive Freedom Champions for U.S. Senate

Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced its endorsement of four reproductive freedom champions running for the U.S. Senate in key races across the country. The endorsements are part of the organization’s My Body. My Ballot. electoral campaign, a $23.5 million effort to mobilize the 8 in 10 Americans who support legal abortion and hold anti-abortion extremists accountable at the ballot box.

Reproductive Freedom for All is proud to endorse the following candidates for election to the U.S. Senate:

  • James Talarico (Texas)
  • Josh Turek (Iowa)
  • Mary Peltola (Alaska)
  • Annie Andrews (South Carolina)

All four candidates have demonstrated a clear commitment to protecting and expanding reproductive freedom and fighting back against political interference in personal healthcare decisions.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“Election after election, voters have rejected abortion extremism and made clear they want leaders who will protect their right to make personal decisions about their bodies, lives, and families. Three of these Senate candidates are running in states with some of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country. They understand what is at stake. We have a critical opportunity to take back the Senate this November, and Reproductive Freedom for All is proud to help elect these champions and build a reproductive freedom majority in Congress.”

As anti-abortion extremists continue attacking abortion access, medication abortion, and reproductive health care nationwide, electing leaders who will protect reproductive freedom has never been more important.
