Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Sen. Jon Tester for Reelection to the U.S. Senate for Montana
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All endorsed Senator Jon Tester (D-MT) for reelection to the U.S. Senate. Throughout his career, Senator Tester has championed reproductive freedom, cosponsoring the Women’s Health Protection Act and consistently earning a 100% rating on Reproductive Freedom for All’s Congressional Record. He remains committed to locking the right to abortion into federal law.
Reproductive Freedom for All President Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Senator Tester has steadfastly fought to protect abortion rights and access. With some politicians more focused than ever on a national ban, we need him in the Senate to defend our rights. Montana voters proved that reproductive freedom cuts across the political spectrum in red, blue, and purple states when they rejected an anti-abortion ballot measure just over a year ago. They are ready to vote their values again next November—and our 21,000 members in the state will be mobilizing their communities to help send Sen. Tester back to Washington.
Last month, on the heels of yet another resounding victory for abortion rights in elections across the country, Reproductive Freedom for All launched its “Vote for Repro Freedom” campaign as the first push of its largest-ever electoral program. This digital and grassroots campaign will harness the momentum of big wins in Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky by encouraging voters to commit to voting in 2024 for reproductive freedom champions as the first step in mobilizing the 8 in 10 Americans who support legal abortion.
