Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Slate of Reproductive Freedom Champions for Georgia General Assembly

Atlanta, GA — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All endorsed three reproductive freedom champions running for the Georgia General Assembly. Georgia has one of the most extreme abortion bans in the country, and electing these leaders is critical to build Democratic power in the state legislature and push back against anti-abortion policies.

Reproductive Freedom for All is proud to endorse the following candidates:

  • Dr. Michelle Au (HD-50)
  • Dar’shun Kendrick (HD-95)
  • Kenya Wicks (SD-34)

Reproductive Freedom for All Director of State Campaigns Pavitra Abraham released the following statement:

“MAGA extremists in the Georgia General Assembly aren’t done attacking abortion access, even as the state’s extreme abortion ban continues to kill patients. The road to undoing these dangerous policies in Georgia runs through the statehouse. Dr. Michelle Au, Dar’shun Kendrick, and Kenya Wicks will fight to ensure medical decisions are made between patients and their providers – not politicians – and Georgians are already mobilizing to carry their races to victory this November.”

These endorsements come as part of Reproductive Freedom for All’s historic $23.5 million My Body. My Ballot. campaign—the organization’s largest-ever midterm electoral program—which is mobilizing voters, holding anti-abortion politicians accountable, and electing reproductive freedom champions in key races across Georgia and the country. Reproductive Freedom for All also released new research as part of the campaign showing that abortion will be a decisive issue and shape which candidates battleground voters support in 2026, including in Georgia.
