Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Slate of Reproductive Freedom Champions for the Michigan Legislature

Lansing, MI — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All endorsed a slate of candidates for the Michigan Legislature who will defend the state constitutional right to reproductive freedom and fight efforts to roll back and restrict abortion access. Electing these candidates is critical to protecting the reproductive freedom majority in the state Senate and taking back the state House this November.

In 2022, Michigan voters overwhelmingly passed Proposal 3 with 56% of the vote, codifying abortion rights in the state.

Reproductive Freedom for All Director of Michigan Campaigns Shanay Watson-Whittaker released the following statement:

“Michiganders already settled this: reproductive freedom is a constitutional right. Now, we need leaders who will defend that right. These candidates have demonstrated that they will uphold the will of Michiganders if elected, and we will keep working to ensure Michigan voters are ready to elect them this November.”
