Reproductive Freedom for All Michigan Endorses Rep. Mai Xiong and Tonya Myers Phillips Michigan State Legislature
Detroit, MI — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All Michigan announced its endorsement of Tonya Myers Phillips (HD-07) and Mai Xiong (HD-13) to the Michigan House of Representatives.
Reproductive Freedom for All Director of Michigan Campaigns, Shanay Watson-Whittaker, released the following statement:
“The fight for reproductive freedom has never been more critical than now—and in Michigan, we’re ready to elect champions up and down the ballot. Electing Tonya Myers Phillips and re-electing Rep. Mai Xiong will be crucial in ensuring we continue having a reproductive majority in the state legislature to build on our work to proactively protect and expand abortion rights and access in our state. Our Michigan members are ready to mobilize to ensure we elect these fighters this November.”
