Reproductive Freedom for All Responds to Outcome of Texas Senate Race

Washington, DC — Today, Representative Colin Allred lost his bid to become the next senator of Texas.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“As a Texan, I am proud of the historic and inspiring campaign that Colin Allred ran. He showed that when you put abortion front and center, you can run competitively in red states like Texas. While we had hoped for a different outcome, we remain committed to working alongside Texans to restore abortion access and will continue holding Ted Cruz accountable for his dangerous attacks on our rights and freedoms.”
