Shot/Chaser:Hegseth Rescinds DoD Policy, Reaffirming That Trump Always Intended to Block Abortion Access
SHOT: While on the campaign trail, Trump and Congressional Republicans lied to voters about their plans to roll back access to abortion, birth control, and IVF on the national level in order to get elected. Though Trump and his political allies used every tool at their disposal to decimate reproductive freedom during his first administration, they tried to cover it up knowing how politically toxic their agenda was with voters.

CHASER: Today, Pete Hegseth handed down the latest proof that Republicans always planned to ram through their anti-abortion agenda, ordering the Department of Defense (DoD) to rescind a Biden-era policy implemented following the U.S. Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade that allowed service members and dependents who can’t access care through the military to receive reimbursement for travel and transportation costs for abortion and fertility treatments, like IVF.
