What's New at Repro for All Toplines
Reproductive Freedom for All is an organizing partner for Good Trouble Lives On, a national day of peaceful action on Thursday, July 17, to honor the legacy of Congressman John Lewis and push back against the Trump administration’s all-out assault on our civil and human rights.
Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and to remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.
“Good Trouble,” a term coined by civil rights leader and reproductive freedom champion Congressman John Lewis, is the act of coming together to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change.
Good Trouble is marches, protests, service work—any action where communities come together to push back against wrongdoings, and speak truth to power.
The civil rights leaders of the past have shown us the power of collective action. That’s why on July 17, five years since the passing of Congressman John Lewis, we’re calling on Americans across the country to Make Good Trouble Together.
We are facing the most brazen rollback of civil rights in generations. The same forces that used violence against John Lewis and civil rights leaders for marching for justice on the Edmund Pettus Bridge are back, with billionaire backers, extremist leaders, and authoritarian ambition.
Whether you’re outraged by attacks on our civil rights and reproductive freedom, the gutting of essential services, disappearances of our neighbors, or the assault on free speech and our right to organize—join us in making Good Trouble.
