Reproductive Freedom Conversation Guide
THE DECISION OF IF/WHEN/HOW TO HAVE A CHILD IS DEEPLY PERSONAL
For many people, the decision of when and if to become a parent is one of the biggest choices they make. For decades, many on the far-right have sought to demonize anyone who seeks an abortion, defund providers who perform this vital, legal health care service, and criticize elected officials who support someone’s ability to make the decisions that are right for them and their families. With the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, extremist politicians have become even more emboldened to block access to basic reproductive health care.
Throughout your conversations with constituents and media, you may be asked about your views on abortion and reproductive rights. This conversation guide will help you to use the most appropriate language to support the movement for sexualand reproductive health and rights.
