Reproductive Freedom for All Arizona Announces Slate of Critical State Legislature Endorsements

Phoenix, AZ  — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All Arizona released a slate of endorsements for candidates running for the Arizona State Legislature, including in races that could determine the majority in the Arizona state House and Senate. Only two seats are needed to flip both chambers, setting up these races to be some of the most critical for abortion access in the country. State legislatures are critical to abortion access across the country, and we are mobilizing our members to ensure we win reproductive freedom majorities in every corner of our nation.

Reproductive Freedom for All Director of Arizona Campaigns Athena Salman released the following statement:

“When our state’s Supreme Court made the horrifying decision to revive a 160-year-old total abortion ban, it was up to the state legislature to repeal it—underscoring how crucial these seats are. We need reproductive freedom majorities in both chambers to fight back against bans and restore reproductive freedom in Arizona. We only need to flip two seats in each chamber to cement a majority that will defend reproductive freedom, and we’re ready to get work and make history this November when we make it happen.”
