ICYMI: Reproductive Freedom for All Arizona Marks Four Years Since Dobbs with Week of Action Events Across the State

Last week, Reproductive Freedom for All Arizona marked the four-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization—which stripped away the federal right to abortion access—with a series of Week of Action events to mobilize voters, engage volunteers, and reaffirm Arizona’s commitment to protecting reproductive freedom.

The Week of Action coincided with the launch of Reproductive Freedom for All’s My Body. My Ballot. campaign, the organization’s largest-ever midterm electoral program. The $23.5 million investment will mobilize voters, hold anti-abortion politicians accountable, and help elect leaders who will protect reproductive freedom. Arizona continues to play a critical role in defending access to reproductive health care, and abortion remains one of the most salient issues ahead of the November midterms.

On June 24, volunteers gathered in the Phoenix metro area for Take Back Dobbs & Knock Doors for Repro Freedom, where members knocked doors in their communities and spoke directly with voters about what is at stake in the 2026 midterm elections. Volunteers emphasized the importance of protecting the reproductive freedoms Arizonans secured when they passed Proposition 139, and continuing to hold anti-abortion politicians accountable.

Reproductive Freedom for All Arizona also hosted Take Back Dobbs & Knock Doors for Repro Freedom in Tucson, where volunteers went door to door to connect with community members and encourage voters to stay engaged in the fight for reproductive freedom. The event reinforced that while the state has made significant progress protecting abortion access, the work is far from over as Arizonans continue to face barriers to care and anti-abortion extremists pursue restrictions at every level of government.

Reproductive Freedom for All Director of Arizona Campaigns Athena Salman also joined Governor Katie Hobbs for a roundtable discussion on protecting reproductive freedom alongside advocates, providers, and community leaders, highlighting the progress Arizona has made since voters passed Proposition 139 and the importance of remaining vigilant against future attacks on reproductive health care.

Four years after Dobbs, Arizona continues to demonstrate that voters support reproductive freedom and reject political interference in personal medical decisions. Through My Body. My Ballot., Reproductive Freedom for All Arizona will continue organizing communities, engaging voters, and building the political power needed to protect reproductive freedom and ensure anti-abortion politicians are held accountable at the ballot box.
