NARAL Pro-Choice America Launches 2024 Electoral Program with Endorsement of Frontline Incumbents for U.S. House of Representatives

Washington, DC — Today, NARAL Pro-Choice America announced the endorsement of a slate of frontline incumbents for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives, officially launching its 2024 electoral program. These endorsements come just ahead of marking one year since the Supreme Court decided Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and ended the constitutional right to abortion, paving the way for anti-abortion lawmakers to enforce bans on abortion. As these bans do untold damage to people across the country, electing leaders who will fight for reproductive freedom has never been more essential.
NARAL Pro-Choice America President Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Since the day Roe was overturned, voters proved without a shadow of a doubt that they will come out to support abortion access and the candidates who are ready to fight alongside them. With the GOP doubling down on their out-of-touch policies, voters will be even more motivated to keep them out of office in 2024. We’re proud to endorse this slate of leaders as the first endorsements of our 2024 electoral program. Ensuring they are reelected is essential to taking back the U.S. House of Representatives and moving one step closer to passing into law legislation that will protect and expand reproductive freedom.”
