Reproductive Freedom for All Celebrates as Ruben Gallego Wins Arizona’s U.S. Senate Race

Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All-endorsed candidate Ruben Gallego won his race for U.S. Senator in Arizona. Reproductive Freedom for All was proud to be the first national reproductive rights group to endorse Gallego’s bid for Senate, and our over 80,000 members in Arizona worked tirelessly to elect him. During his time in Congress, Rep. Gallego has been a champion for reproductive freedom, co-sponsoring crucial bills including the Women’s Health Protection Act and the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH) Act. He has proven time and again that he is committed to restoring the right to abortion and expanding access for Arizonans and all Americans.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“By sending Ruben Gallego to the Senate, Arizonans have chosen reproductive freedom and to end this deadly crisis. Ruben Gallego is a reproductive freedom champion. Voters recognized that their lives were on the line, and mobilized en masse to deliver this result. We are thrilled to congratulate Senator-elect Gallego on this well-deserved victory.”
